EMMANUEL RUBIO

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

The notion of attempting to a better understand the universe and its contents fascinates me. As Vitruvius explains, “An Architect must be well versed in many areas of studies.” I truly feel that my education has provided me such. I recognize that architecture encompasses many factions, and that a good designer must be understanding of many things. Interestingly architecture has no correct answer, it has infinite possibilities. To design one must study the problem at hand; meaningful architecture attempts to solve that problem. Humans today will spend ninety percent of their lives in or around architecture, thus it has a direct and often personal relationships in our lives. Knowing that the built environment plays such a dramatic role in our daily interactions, architects have a responsibility to be as sensible as possible.
